This one was inspired from my walk just before noon today. You see, when it's not raining and it's not night, I read while I walk. If the sunlight is brilliant, the shadows ahead look so dark that one cannot see much of what might be lurking there. Especially when wearing sunglasses. Yet, when I step into the shadow, there seems to be plenty of light to see, even with my sunglasses on. It's like it fools you into thinking that there is plenty of light. well, here's what transpired: Where Darkness Seeps strolling about in the brilliance of day sun shining in a blinding array up ahead, an ebony shade where naught can be seen from the contrast that’s made yet stepping in to the shadows there adjustment’s made, in vision’s repair walking along, one might conceive their vision’s quite fine in the shadow’s deceive much like the frog in the pot of stew from cold to hot, he does not rue for the change is slight, he heeds not well and soon we find he’s cooked quite swell little slips of evil in, disguised in shadows, very thin so dimly lit, we notice not, taking in the light we’ve got then before we know it, the glimmer’s gone and evil’s won our darkened dawn ©September 18, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Hmmm... Excellent rhythm, but I'm having difficulty seeing through the bright light! Good job Vas. ThisDiamond |
