My Love Belongs

you are
the silver
to my moon
at night
I fit within
your spoon
it is
your hand
I strongly hold
the breath
I breathe
so bold
taught this heart
to be a bird
listen when
I don’t say
a word
reminding me
I was never half
but whole
reaching
the depths
of my soul
the gentleness
of you
is what
I admire
the very note
which symphonies
are inspired
and if
you ever wonder
it is true
my love
belongs
to you

I’m not disappointed, I never expected anything from you.
