I thought I saw you
by the lake
the other day,
looking so content
with your new love.
I could scarcely
stand to look,
yet neither could I
look away.

But it turned out
not to be you.
For you
were too busy
buying candy and flowers,
for me,
just because.

sweet stuff... the two verses show the yin and yang of fear and joy of love...

simple, but beautiful...and yes...SWEET...

I've gotta thing for chocolate covered coconut m'self...um...just in case you don't like THOSE...
