“DANCING WITH HER”

Last evening I danced with a stranger,
to guitars strumming through the night…
Held her close, felt all of her warmth,
under the stars in the pale moonlight…

My hands on her hips, as I held her close,
swaying in motion to a southern beat…
Delicate it was holding her just right,
her breath on my neck, feeling complete…

Told me her name, whispered it in my ear,
already knew though, was in my dreams…
Want more than just dancing with her,
somewhere in the south, under moonbeams…

'neath the blue moon, 'mong the streams
he waltzed the waltz, danced his dreams
smell of lilac, honeysuckle, too
seems to me this dream had a view...

Yeah! Lets hear it for dancing with stranges somewhere in the south, under moon beams....oops - wife boxed my ears just then!
