As the sun begins it’s slow downwardly descent
I ride into another sunset of the sand,
My visor shades my eyes from the last of glaring,
As the coolness of night hugs tightly to the land.
I stop my riding for the calmness of the night,
To relax on the ground my mind, body, and hand.

I’d caress you if you were near enough to touch,
Getting lost in the sparkle dancing in your eyes,
But you are three days and nights away on my ride,
And I must be content with the star sparkled skies
Till the southern clouds roll over the nightly lights,
And the chill of loneliness makes the heavens cry.

The morning sun finds me once agin on my way,
Both farther and closer by a night and a day.

And you kind sire are the bravest of knights!
I am quickly becoming a great fan of your writing...
Although I have a tendency to sigh loudly as I read your words.
Extremely well written.

Sigh away Enchanting Nancy,
It will help to find you in the dark
Till fingertips greet you and lip find your treat

That's a nice thought, I think I'll sleep on it.
