Whither comes the light From the love in your heart Slicing through the dead of night Traces of love from somewhere up above Atop the mountain is where you keep me As yellow daisies sway in the wind in the valley Your love carries me to places I would never see Above and beyond the worldly chains of love Flying freestyle on the clouds through reality and fantasy Just one kiss is enough to send me flying high Beyond where the mere minds can see To a place deep in the heart of us Never would I see this happening to me Never in a million years did I dream That this is the way love would be Changing you and I into us To fulfill the promise yet unspoken From this loving heart of mine I give this ring as a token Of my undying love for you © alan/icyheart |
