Ah! I can't help it
But to feel this way
Like an over chewed
Piece of gum
Stale ever losing its flavour
My nerves cringe
Like my senses
Are witnessing nails down a black board
This is how I feel
When I'm ignored
I feel stale
Old, useless
I can't help it
I try visiting my conscience
Each time I feel this way
But I fail
I won't allow myself the time of day
Nor the patience
I can't help it
I always feel this way
Stale...

Awesome the way you express your feelings.

Ceinwyn,
I like the taste of dust and ash in this one. Vivid imagery.

Well done. Enjoyed...but I don't think you're stale. Chris

Kristen,
Now write one called slate --
imbue it with stone
and images.

Nothing "Stale" here, Catwyn.

You seem to be finding a new and confident voice lately.

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".
