It was a normal day
I was getting ready for school
When my Mom told me to come see the news,
I sat transfixed, I couldn't believe my eyes
Who would do such a hideous act?
All day we talked about it, teachers had their
TV's on, and we watched in horror.
Some People laughed, some cried, and some were silent in shock.
Now just one year later,
we had a moment of silence today.
They tighted secruity
Nothing happened.
Now everyone will forever remember
what happened and how many people
have died.

TradingSpaces---Great user name! I love the TV show by the same name.

Your poem was so real. Giving your readers a glimpse of what your 9/11 day was like and what your feelings were regarding the tragedy.

Thank you for sharing that with us.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Andrea, I first heard of this tragedy when my mom was driving me to school in Denver that morning, and on the KBCO Radio Station they said News Flash and I heard the news and I cried and got a lump in my throat and the next few days would feel so very painful to me to hear of the news! (sad sigh) This is very powerful, sweet friend, God Bless You and all of America, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Andrea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
