A star rises as....as a star falls. |

This gift, given but for a microcosm of time... The steadiness of the heart, the pen unwavering. Words which fell from the skies onto the earth Words of truth, heart, dreams...and more... Yet, now with each passing hour, each moment the steadiness fails, the ink dries in meaningless scribble born of the blindness of old age... I can only feel the page, knowing not what might be upon the parchment meant for love...for life. Each labored stroke, each dot, each blackened line all unseen...only hoped to be as the mind has seen. My hands now shriveled beyond recognition, fingers clutching as if paper wadded for the trash. The shakes of disease bringing forth the tremor that brought the death, early as it is...to my minds ability to express....my heart no longer bleeds... Through the hands of a son, a knowing son, one who has read, has felt and seen all that I am, all that my heart has held and shared... Through his hands I write my last words... And, ‘pon the morrow at break of day, at rise of a waiting sun, he shall write... Writing the memory of us, of him, of our love, his love, my love, theirs.... And on that morn, a new star, unseen.. Shall be born as an old star fades from darkened skies, to shine not again... To write... Nevermore.... Huh? Is this a challenge here? If not, oh well.. I'll just write anyway...and so be it... (smiles) Oh my gosh, I LOVE IT, I too have heard of this challenge off Mutingtons Meadow, again you soar with the spirit of the raven in timeless classic quill! (big hugggssssss) This is powerfully heartwrenching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

For poetry to breath the life of the emotion, a patient hand must steer the heart to the paper...A lot to be said for experience. Such a gracious and gentle pulse will forever bleed the heart of this poet Magnus. ThisDiamond |

Barry What a beatuiful thought...to be able to pass on your ability as a writer to your son. Sad, but beautiful. |

This is touching and lovely Magnus. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

Mangus...Your words are so touching and tell a sad story, but with a happy ending for the son will carry on in the fathers footsteps...Paul |
