My Coffee...My Tea

I like my coffee plane and mild
a leafy plant, a bean, a stubborn child
asked his Mom to pour a cup
she complied..childhood undenied
across lifted aromas, a question arises...
what's up?

I like my tea clear and tart
added some cognac for a spark
stubborn lad, drawn by deeper aromas
a question arises..what's to brew next?

well the tea was for the afternoon
another coffee would be all to soon
from misty waters echoes a lonesome loon
and plantation growers hums a favorite tune.

in the forest shadow, under a canopied top
shade grown plants yields a decent crop
quick success story...or a disguised flop
methodology proliferates...non stop

I like my coffee really strong, and my tea must stand without the cup...

Thanks for sharing...these poems do take some thought and I do like to add a little intrigue now and then..am still looking for
answers!!
