The pavement burned like a morphine smile As sky drops steamed on the ground The Libra sun has rose so high As if to never come down Hey dog, did you see the size of that chicken!? |

Very vivid in the heat of it, save for the morphine smile. To that I have no frame of reference. That could be a good thing. But the beginning and the end seems to convey how hot it was/is. Searing. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

like this a lot... the first line adding to the dazed overheated feeling of the whole... good stuff in so few lines!!! |

the morphine smile left me a little numb but the rest was incandescant. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

(smiles) I know these summer days ever too well too, Colorado has been so very dry yet the fiesta sun is wonderful! (big hugggsssss) This is a delightful sun-shining poem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kristopher, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
