I see within ray
that blast through glass
awaken world with morn
spirit essence
afloat in warmth
of sun that splash
into the room
with delicate filigree
of light

I watch you dance
soft steps
of surreal passage
into space

cover
but not erase
carpet
chair
and bed

rhythm of nature
do I detect

sun spirit
dance for me
morning echoes
captured on the way
to this my day
share with me
in full array
your ghostly sway.

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning here in Ontario----and the "sun spirit" is "dancing" in full swing. I'm caught up in this wonderful "rhythm" of "nature".

This poem fits perfectly into this sunny September's day!

Thank you Linda. Here the mood was broken as mom jumped on the riding lawn mower and the smell of gas and grass now fills the room.

Glad I got that soft thought out before she did.

The sun spirit is dancing this morning here in the Puget Sound area as well. I'd been so preoccupied this morning that I hadn't even noticed. Thank you for opening by eyes and warming my soul.
