oh the day the towers fell now I am to wax profound? YOU want politica to tell... How does one start to write the sound? IMPACT dust--fire--dust-- where are words for such a sound? A double Hindenburg in bust-- towers rabbeling to ground. Steel and glass became repast of those in chuckle-- "allah praised" now it's time to move-- and fast their demise in toast of raise sands in smooth of hour's glass... we were sold a dream of gold-- oh-we-ate-the-opiates oh-behold the-stories-told protected by the Roman's fate. And now we can pretend to know the story of what happened since. We wrap our ribbons round the trees light candles and we light incense. Someone? Tell the history of how this story came to be... Tell us how the oil ran deep tell the secrets of the greed-- how we sold a loaf--leavened-- and had to fight ourselves--AGAIN. Tell them, that we sold our men and women in the desert sand. Spin it up real good and then? Paint it up in ribboned strand of the ole red white and blue... my god, I wish this wasn't true... |

A very impassioned piece of writing!----very thought-provoking as well. You tell things the way you see them. I am always interested in your perspectives and how you view the world. Earth Angel |

You in no way added to the pain. This a writing from the dust of what once was and obviously a pained write as well. An incredible poem and one you should be proud of. |

Sen, There is sentimentality, and there is understanding. I wish you were working for a major TV network. *hug* Mikey |

This is a voice, and voices, all voices, must be heard. That is the promise. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

you mentioned Rome, well Rome has moved west, but oddly enough though Rome fell while Nero fiddled it rose again in more than one place very thought provoking lines in your work here I wish there was no reason for any of these 9/11 poems to even be, let alone hold truths in them, sharp, painful truths Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Truth in its most pure form and a plea to know--TO KNOW--the whys the reasons... as maniacal as they are... We pine for sanity amid this heinous fallacy of fervor. Who ever heard of the deaths of so many bringing about anything but towers of grief! This is the poem that should be remembered. These are the concepts that should be SHOUTED from the top of the Empire State Building!!! glad, so glad, to read ya, GB |
