She will rise again, for the whole world to see This powerful nation we love refuses to fall to her knees Though sadness may linger, for the ones we lost so dear Truth and triumph are never far from reach, they are always near Every year on this day we shall remember the ones we loved and lost Never forgetting the sum of what we paid, way too much in cost When our country attacks, no one involved with terrorism will be free Justice will be served, and all that happens will be meant to be Tears of mothers and children can be heard late at night The heroes on that day though now are living in forever heavenly light The red white and blue will see glorious days again As we shake hands with our allies, gather near our cherished friends The towers may have fallen on that day, but our spirit never will With every beat of our hearts, you can feel the patriotism and pride that is so real Lives were lost on that day, but terrorism will come to an end So though our nation may be down for the moment, She will rise again "if irish eyes are smiling...they are probably up to something" [This message has been edited by Aimster (09-10-2002 11:34 AM).] |

Rising will always be. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |
