in the soft hush

that small space of time
where empty is air

silent is sound

and a whisper
too loud

tell me
in feathered words

weightless thoughts
of remembrance
of love

so that I
might feel
the tenderest
touch
upon my heart

and breathe
a sigh
of love for you.
