In Some Small Way By Larry Chadwick Why I write of Ginger Michelle and Papa I can’t write away my pain, It won’t remove the ugly stain. And I can’t rhyme away the grief, Though it gives me some relief. But I can write about my loss, And thus purge a little dross. While I write it brings to mind, Gems that are so sweet to find. For in my pain I want to learn, At least some knowledge I can earn. That in this process I might grow, Even though the tears still overflow. And in writing about my sorrow, I might help you face tomorrow. For there is meaning in my tears, That I can’t forget for many years. For if nothing else it heals my heart, When I can do some little part. For I know their deaths were not in vain, And that’s enough to overcome the pain. September 8, 2002 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

And in writing about my sorrow, I might help you face tomorrow. For there is meaning in my tears, That I can’t forget for many years. And facing tomorrow we must! Thank you for your wisdom and your unsurmountable strength. In your sorrow you lend so much!!! Oh hugs and more hugs to you my special friend!! |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Larry, my words pretty much echo what Muys says, it is hard to accept but know your Ginger and your dad will always love you so very much and guide you with their love from above and that is true knowledge of faith! (sigh) My thoughts are with you as always, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." Shakira [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (09-09-2002 08:08 AM).] |

When faced with a tragic loss such as yours, perhaps some comfort may be gained from believing that everything in life goes according to a divine plan. We must go with the ebb and flow of life--and death. For everything, There is a season, A perfect rhyme, A perfect reason. Earth Angel |

Oh Larry! I wish I could take away your pain. But, I can't. All I can do is offer my frienship and love. I hope that will help a little, and give little bit of comfort. Sending "Big Hugs" to you. |

Larry, Sorrow touches everyone. The good the bad the old the young. And so it does forevers will. Until the all has gone to still. You wrote a lovely poem. |

Larry, I hope that your writing will at least help you get some of the emotions out. Better you get it out than hold it inside. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you, Hugs, Marti Every now and then take a good look at something not made |

Lori, Thank you so much. It is so good to see you here! Your understanding is so appreciated. Muys, You are such a sweet lady. Thank you always for your support. Noah, I was listening to NPR radio and they were interviewing a poet who was talking about his poetry after his wife died. He spoke of how healing it was for him and the progression of his poetry in grieving. Anyway, it got me to thinking. Thanks. Nancy Lee, Yup, it does. Thank you. Your encouragement is so important to me. Lauren, ========================= I still write today, of what I lost yesterday....(I know you understand that) ========================= I sure do... You have helped me stay strong. Thank you for being there. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
