It's late and the shadow has passed over the moon with the whisper of time into the night. The heavens now darkened on the way to midnight bare of starlight shroud by cloud. A darkness so deep as to be felt that I could slip into the velvet this curtain of sky. But, it's late, and the shadow has passed over the moon with the whisper of time into the night, and the moment is now gone. WhiteRose The White Rose~ |

isn't that always the way, by the time you have captured the moment it has gone? Loved the soft feel of this. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

You have some lovely, vivid imagery here, Anne... Adding up to one beautifully written piece ~ nighttime hugs Lyra |

WhiteRose, This is much as last nights' sky was. Great dark swirling images. ~wranx In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". |

White Rose...I agree with Lyra. A wonderful poem. A moment in time captured by you in this poem...Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (09-03-2002 09:44 PM).] |
