To Feel Again

I tried to tell you before it was too late
How important it was for me to be able to trust
You always just turned and walked away from me
As if it wasn't important at all
Do you realize how important it was to me, now
Or do you still just brush it off like you did before
For me to trust you now would be real hard for me
Too many times you would just walk away
As if to say it did not matter how I felt
The feelings I once had for you are not as strong
As they were when you and I first met
You have made it very clear to me
That I am just a worthless bitch
Still you wonder why I do not believe you
When you tell me that you love me
The kind of love you have given me
I have never known before
It is a love I never want to have again
The time you would never give
To spend some time with me
No matter what happens now
I will never be able to trust you again
My heart you managed to scar forever
It has been a real struggle for me
To even want to live
Death just won't come soon enough
This is how I feel
The pain you have given me
I never want to feel again

I have felt this feeling before Sue..the feeling subsides when you realize you are better off without someone who can't share their love.

Dear Sue, Sadly, it seems you've had a rough time since I read your last poem and email. Try not to look back. Even with a broken heart you can go forward into a place that is special just for you. One step at a time, one moment at a time.
