Sinister : on, to, or toward the left-handed side She walks down the side street in her own way, Dressed all in black and avoiding the day, Keeping to the left side where shadows dwell, Although it’s darkened she knows the way well. Short stairs leads to two doors close together, Quickly unlocks the left one and enters. Shutting the steel plated black painted door She has with stealth returned back home once more. Not that anyone was watching for her, But unnoticed is what she would prefer. Once there was a time to walk the bright side When all of life had a joyous light side, And she thought she was walking the right side, But times change, Rearrange, And the bright day turns into dark of night, When darkness is safer than the sunlight, And instead of the joy of being seen, They find you to hurt and be mean, You learn what a fool you’d been And then start staying in, The bright forgot, Becoming not, Sinister, That’s her; Gone. Gloom |

Thank you, Sunshine, As a chemist, I always think of sinister as left, It’s the way of optical chemistry nomenclature. The popular meaning came from thinking left handed people Were of the devil, so medieval, and wrong. But yes I did want to make people look, and since I’d been writing Chinese inspirations of late, thought I needed a change back. Pleased you enjoyed. Thank you, Enchantress, Just sip the coffee slowly, and turn your head, I know my writing is like a car wreck at times, But it’s best you don’t stare too long. Glad you liked it. Hey, nice one I like the flow, toward the tapered end. I'm not one to use the equation, in very general terms: light = good dark = bad Not saying you did exactly that, and not a criticism, just slightly leaned towards it. "Aging keeps life interesting" |

Well... I loved the way that this story flowed down the page, and where the shifts were reading it aloud it was a fantastic piece. However, I am left-handed, and for some strange reason I always figured I was from medieval times, and there are some will tell you I am "full of the devil"  I really enjoyed this Professor (miss our talks in the morning by the way - don't do mornings anymore)  I will have to look at your home page now to see what you have been up to there.The most valuable thing you own is a smile, wear it, and share it. |

I use to be so outgoing..always walked out in the open..happy as a lark..they would say.. I can understand this because for 2 years I have slinked around..hiding from most people and feeling the fool..so I know the feeling..I have only recently begun to unwind and relax, leave my front door open...some day you will notice it. well..I've said enough *s M |
