In the Spring of our love
like a flower, love grew
blossoms beautiful
all nurtured by you.

In the Summer of our love
the passion, like a flame
burned hot in it's desire
the fire had your name.

In the Autumn of our love
in colorful array
our love was renewed
in a joy filled display.

In the Winter of our love
a chill filled my heart
as you told me good-bye
then turned to depart.

The seasons of love
some I'll never see again
but I'll live them forever
when I remember when.

Love the last stanza, it's a great conclusion.

I think, because we usually expect spring before summer that it might work to put the spring stanza first, what do you think?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
