Need some clarity here, Larry. Do you mean forget little things, like slights and hurts, minor annoyances and major betrayals? Or-- Are you talking about 'ole what's-his-name'? Or maybe you wanted us to decide? Looks like a great idea developing... Shenachie [This message has been edited by Bridget Shenachie (06-26-2002 12:17 AM).] |

Shenachie, See...it did give cause for thought. The answer would be YES! But I will concede it's probably a large thought for 20 or less. And thanks for the candor, I like that too. Show you care to those you love...today. |

I get it.. to stay married or have a relationship you need a blind spot to the little anoying faults.. like how you squeeze the toothpaste or other minor things. Good thought. |

Larry, there is nothing wrong with your eyesight I think. Occasionly blindspots can get us out of some sticky situations. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Had to show up again to let you know that I am still pondering your poem. You must mean this is your response for forgetting to do errands, birthdays, anniversaries. Sorry Pal, love just doesn't get that blind! Fun write! Shenachie |

Larry darling boy, I think you meant blind spots as to the little irritants we all have that drive another mad. Arrange to overlook your partners defects as long as they overlook your own? Or were you going for a deeper thought? Whatever you were after it is a wonderful piece of writing and I love it Love and warm stuff As always slushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |

Shenachie, With our relationships we have things that are petty and annoy us, but if we ignore them it will enhance the relationship and we will be the better for it. Thanks for playing. Show you care to those you love...today. |

Hi Larry! It helps to get the straight answer directly from the author. I was reading this with various interpretations. Love your patience and tolerance. And thanks for enlightening me. My ignorance was becoming a great burden. I've enjoyed this immensely! Your poem and the whole thread! Shenachie |

Shenachie, Poetry like communication certainly has the possibility of being misunderstood or at least subject to interpretation. Sometimes for the better and sometimes worse. Thanks. ES, In that case complete blindness would be required! LOL Nice try. And thanks, I think. Show you care to those you love...today. [This message has been edited by Larry C (06-30-2002 11:55 PM).] |
