Gatekeeper the trumpets blare with coming guests a lie that blows from a setting West for evil is not befriended by good under shady elm, in the shaded wood there is but one door to the gate of hell that Cirius vociferously guards so well nor bark nor growl shall pass for key or open frozen locks that easily. They stand before a judgment of souls their life splayed and prayed upon whole Each page exposed in the light of Right where aggressors fall at the hand of Might. With a whispered bribe and coin in hand a last chance prayer upon dark lands I behoove you, now, before the End and make the Gatekeeper a trusted friend. I'm heeding your words, they are always so concise and full of wisdom. Bet you never thought I was a good listener....but I hear you loud and clear. Wonderful message Jeff! |

BRAVO!!! Oh Jeff, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I love this, yes, it helps very much not to try and fight or struggle with the gatekeeper but make a friend of it and respect him and then you can find yourself proceeding from behind the portcullis! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeff, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Sey: you are always most kind, Sir. It is a troubled and deeply disturbed mind that forces this unyieldly pen forward and it is an honor to be read. Merci beaucoup. LoriA- many many analogies here, aren't there, about gates to be entered, some good, some hard. In a spiritual sense, i hope my soul has found its Gatekeeper, for we have but one life in which to let it soar. It was a tough day, ami, here, and i needed some solace. Thank you, Lori, very very very much for saying hi....*smile* jeff |

ah, but Noah, I know you know WHO the Gatekeeper is for i have seen your spirit writing about Him. Why struggle with good, and right? Why not embrace it, and shun its evil twin? Seems so easy, does it not? *smile* Gracias, Noah, for your always wise replies. jeff |

Thank you TD! you make the page blush in humility.... Nance: As i was explaining to Dulcy, it deals with a person entering the crossroads perhaps attempting a bribe of Charon, the navigator fo the River Styx, and trying not to be frightened by Cirius, the dog guard of hell. No amount of man-might can force their way thru Heaven's Gate. Thank you sweet lady, for taking the time to ponder this and seek your own meaning....it has perhaps a few jeff |

Jeff darling boy oh my how spectacular this is, without doubt your writing has so many layers of meaning and each is perfectly portrayed by your amazing and superb depth of soul that you contribute to all your pennings. YOU are inarguably the most gifted writer of depth I have ever read, sooooooo capable and able to express your soul in a descriptive and spiritual way. Thank you darling boy for this utterly utterly perfect poem. WONDERFUL hardly covers it but you are and so is this piece. I love it utterly utterly love it Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the eathquake wind and fire Oh [This message has been edited by Marsha (06-25-2002 05:53 AM).] |
