Let us not in our haste hurry dawn, there is much to explore in this night. Take my hand there a bright future yawns on the verge of discovering, flight. In the pure chance this moment will bring us together with that from afar, swing us low, oh sweet chariot, sing of the sun, and the moon, and the stars. Let ethereal blend with what's real, as we lie in our lovers' embrace. In the warmth of discovery feel, that perhaps we've at last found our place. As two notes in celestial song, let time guide us to where we belong. |

James, Thank you , glad you liked. This was a spinoff from the workshop this month. I posted one poem in anapestic trimeter there ( after many failed attempts ) and thought I would try another. Doc Krishankins, Thank you. As I said above , this is my second attempt at this form (which seems to have a unique flow to it). Thanks again. Doc |

Balladeer, Thanks. Nan's class is agreat place to get an education ( and have some fun). Doc Coco, Thank you very much. Two weeks ago I wouldn't have known a trimeter from a parking meter without the help of Balladeer and Nan. That's what makes this such a great place. Doc |
