Thundering purpose Rolling down the plains Electrically revitalized shock In resurrected waters Flooding baptism of faith Absorbing desert in renewal Resilient cactus limbs Storing needed nourishment Sudden flowering thanks In a new found paradise That the heat scorches Into miniscule time tracks My lips crack bone dry Sending perspiration flakes Into acidic salt spray Sculpturing sandstone cliffs Heat shock within a tormented mind Exhaustion drained battery Surviving on dead cells Time to move on A word alone so unique It stands alone as a monument A line so ambitious it struggles On wings of solitude Stanzas of perfection exhilarating Poems are the terrain of the mind They are the landscape that flowers In time frames they capture the moisture For the renewal of humanities rebirth As the poems are joined in the faces of history They provide the emphasis for resilience The renew of the ritual purification Of the survivability of natures purpose From the blessing of the heaven of universes In a shower of salvation Cleansing the spirit of our time I bow to the power of my verse To join yours in stupendous power Into a firestorm of meteors In the fireworks of the ages Let us renew the power of one word Standing uniquely alone Joined in lines of common thought Creating stanzas recreating our world In the words that adhere us In the hands of God’s love Email me if at [email protected] D.Lester Young (06/22/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 |

Oh my gosh, this is wonderful and so very motivating, sweet friend, yes, poetry is what makes life fruitful and we have the music in us all, all we have to do is give for you get all you offer and in result that oasis that remains will only stretch on and like the Suez canal much more acquired wisdom will come fill to our hearts content! (smiles) This is excellent, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you!
