To Dwell or not to Dwell Upon a flying carpets climb I dwelt upon a muse’s time And flew within a foggy head To catch a butterfly to wed My eyes stayed closed on imprecise They ached from watching paradise And would not see reality Nor free the hand of ecstasy Edging on aggressions mood Not quite dressed and not quite nude With pressures, that it stay in tact In hopes that it would stay its act Alas alack illusions snack Born within a dreamer’s sack One that I will truly miss The essence of a steamy kiss And now the acid sun has come Dissolved the night and I’m undone. My eyes stayed closed on imprecise They ached from watching paradise ================================== Edging on aggressions mood Not quite dressed and not quite nude With pressures, that it stay in tact In hopes that it would stay its act Alas alack illusions snack Born within a dreamer's sack One that I will truly miss The essence of a steamy kiss And now the acid sun has come Dissolved the night and I'm undone. =============================== Sy-babers there are so many clever, subtle lines of imagery dressed in wit, angst, and truth in this oh so cool piece. I love the ethereal, melancholy mix of analogy to fantasy and ecology...and that closing couplet's impact and imagery is poetic genius and is the humanity of the poem. Once again I say...I do so enjoy seeing things thru your eyes of wise. "With pressures, that it stay in tact In hopes that it would stay its act" that kind of sums it all up...dont it.... yer so kewl ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You will never be undone, Sy. NEVER! Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

JM, If I ever get to put together a small book of my humble poems I would you please write the preface. Sy-babers there are so many clever, subtle lines of imagery dressed in wit, angst, and truth in this oh so cool piece. I love the ethereal, melancholy mix of analogy to fantasy and ecology...and that closing couplet's impact and imagery is poetic genius and is the humanity of the poem. Once again I say...I do so enjoy seeing things thru your eyes of wise. Dear Tink, you are the sugar of my day. Seymour darling boy I’m completely awed by this delight. Oh how you write, and how much I love it when you do so. Once upon a dreamers thought In drifting bliss my breath was caught By a whisper murmured low I slipped into your souls warm flow Without fuss I’ll meekly cede To let you plant this poet’s seed In hope’s dreams this is true That dreamers fill their heart with you This is utterly utterly divine. Purely magical darling boy, utter bliss and I love it utterly utterly. This is why I seek out your writing you are just exquisitely fine, your writing is quality. And I utterly utterly love it ![]() ![]() Love and warm stuff As always Mushy ![]() ![]() ![]() Breathe through the heat of our desire |

And the wit and freshness of your talent goes on and on. ( undone or not ) Maybe we should all look into being undone a little more. It sure as heck seems to be working for you. Excellent writing and I have said it before ... if you find a Sy poem, then you won't EVER be disappointed. |
