Another Saturday Night, like all the rest. No one comes to my rescue. And wouldn't you know, I'm looking my best, and wanting someone, to think so too. There's no one to see, the silk I have on, how it glitters in the pale moonlight. And the breathing I hear is only my own, and my arms, are holding me tight. I pretend that someone, really loves me. And will love me, till the end of time. I ignore the fact, I've been told,that I'm loved, but it has always been just a line. Love for a night has no meaning, if tomorrow is not in the plan. So that is why I am alone tonight, because I know not such a man. If you can't make it so, |
