You know I'm riding a scooter, don't walk that good anymore
I use it for my outings, driving 'round in nature galore
It has to be uploaded, by electricity that is
And riding towards Titia, that was my greatest wish

But it has limited mileage, so I wasn't sure at all
If I could make it all the way, before we flat down fall
First I drove by car the path, to see how far I had to go
And that just made me happy, it was possible you know

Fifteen miles, it could be close, I thought to give it a try
It would take at least a hour, these things they just don't fly
I did'nt call her in advance, just packed my things and went
And hoped that for this daring trip a guardian angel was send

I roamed the countryroads, seeing beautiful things
Enjoying nature's glory, like flying on angel's wings
And I made it to Titia's place, but she wasn't home at all
Forgot that she was working, stupid I didn't call

So I had to return again, without knowing if I could make it
For should it stop and go no more, then I could really shake it
I finally made it to my home and I was so happy by then
I've been a little afraid though, but I sure will do it again

Life on the internet begins at...90!

Muys darling girl this is delightful and so loving, I love it, the adventure and the risk, its amazing what we can do if we want to.

This as beautifully written and such a lovely flow, the rhyme was fabulous too. You are a lovely mum and Tita is a fabulous daughter, you are lucky to have each other, the love you share simply flows through this delightful poem. Very well written I love it utterly utterly

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Oh Muys!!  This is SO cute!
But...if it is a true story
which I have no doubt it is...
you must be careful and
maybe call Titia first!
I would hate to think of you stuck
on the side of the road.
Excellent write!!

You are such a great KID, Muys....
Isn't it more fun to stay a kid then to grow up and be stuffy?

YOU are definitely not stuffy!!!!!!!
Titia is so lucky to have you for a Mom.

That's our Lady Muys...a gal on the go
no matter if anyone is home or not!
If you have cellular mobile phones in your neck of the woods,
I would encourage you to get one, just in case...

This is just wonderful writing! I so enjoyed!
If you are this adventurous at age 91, what were you like in your younger days?
I hope you'll write about those days.

Hugs,
Deb
