Its true I might only be a "mere woman" that there might not be much that I could do but I can tell you this one thing for certain I'm a great fan of the grande red, white and blue. I believe in what old glory stands for you'd never hear me put her honor down I'd be more than willing to do my share to defend this, our beloved ground. I'm just a small part of this great country yep, a real true blue patriotic madame you bet I'd serve this country of freedom with pride I'd say sign me up Uncle Sam!! 06-22-02 just playing around with words today about things that I love....*w* I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth) [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (06-22-2002 06:17 PM).] |

(smiles) Oh Doa, this is soooooo beautifully patriotic, sweet friend, Uncle Sam will always be happy to have a faithful daughter like you as we are all His children and he promises us freedom and liberty! (kiss on cheek) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

This is a sweet poem with a wonderful sentiment behind it. We have changed so much from the sixties and seventies, when patriotism just seemed to be so out of style...and its so good to see it back again... I never thought I would say that... I was the worst protester and the biggest hippie of all. ~ patriotic hugs Lyra |

sitting here waving my flag and thanking you all. PDV, thank YOU for the link. Lyra honey, you were doing your thing, aint that what it's all about. Hmm.....searching for that big peace sign to put in here as a reminder that we should all believe in peace, and having no luck finding it.....lol...... Peaceful hugs to all. I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth) [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (06-23-2002 09:29 AM).] |
