just fly away from here
before the sun rises to fade away
as the dreams you dream are still fresh to tell
and the powers you have are worthy of sale
fly away from the darkness and pain
to the edge of reality withered by blame
to a place where no one can know your name
and dance in the light
scattered from the fire across the ground
as the flames leap and play to the sound
wood crackling on a hot desert eve
bodies in motion to a nonexsistent beat
just a rustle of hundreds and thousands of feet
moving on their own
full of energy and desire, passion and lust
bare to the world, covered only by dust
and just fly away from here
to the edge of the world you know
and sing the song you have to show
though you already know the words
yet you never sang the melody before
it's a secret trapped behind your minds door
a song of salvation a song of peace
lyrics written in a time of grace
by a beautiful smile on an angels face
and sing the song loudly
don't worry about cracking or losing your breath
each song is different in life and in death
fly away from here
anywhere, honey I don't care
life wasn't made to be righteous or fair

and never be duplicated
though often imitated
all in the eye of the beholder
uniqueness is key to survival for me
a masterpiece that to gaze upon is free
