arms hang limp daytime stress means movements are minimized, only nighttime’s cool affords pacing under the stars the dust blows without mercy causing loss of sight- but the wind’s howl reaffirms the lack of relief all desire is drained fortitude alone holds her from reaching down to when but a single drop of him would bring succulence-deserts demand deep roots like the desert she waits **special** thanks to marge for the graphic *big smiles and hugs* she is a sweetie |

Yes, deep roots, sometimes that is the only means of survival... |

That was some rough stuff but a very good read. Cold hands means a warm heart |

JellyBeans~ Gal ... this is a compelling emote~ And to lace it with thoughts of pure beauty ... an extra treat~ 'nighttime’s cool affords pacing under the stars' *And .... GREAT GRAPHIC doll !!! I'm tickled pink that you like it ... it's YOU !!! Love n' hugs~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Ahem... why am I just now seeing this for the first time? My email's working just fine... what happened to my advance copy? *G* Second... I've been waiting to see that graphic in use... and hope I see it many, many more times. Marge is such a dear and it's the perfect gift... for what spills from your pen is multi-colored delights. *S* We just need to get rid of all those nasty black ones. *G* And now for the poem... No, I'm not through pouting, but I can pout and appreciate at the same time. *G* You've painted a wonderful picture of standing strong against adversity... even as your prayers for relief are whisked away by the same winds that howl their message that no relief is in sight. Another magnificent write, dear lady. *S* |

(sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, this reminded me of that song by Everything But The Girl's album Amplified Heart with the lines in the chorus "I miss you, like the deserts miss the rain!"! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, you always write such wonderfully descriptive poems, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jellybeans, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
