The Short of It We met on the end of an ache A heart in heal and not awake Wrapped around in hiding covers A wall of dark that stays and hovers A zone without a telephone A place of empty and postpone A place of good you fear as bad Clothed in garments gray and sad It is the style of a wile. Weather a frown or a smile. That takes you and brings you back With fruits or an empty sack. Phantoms and ghosts are your host That wines you in a roast or toast. That spears you or clears your fear Devils in brew, love of a dear. And there is no choosing my friend Either or and short is the end. |

Seymour hello there, I get to be the first to reply, ahead of mum and Krissy which will teach them both to not go off gallivanting and not take me. As it happens I’m working this afternoon so I couldn’t go anyway, but that is beside the point. So I get to answer first and tell you this is wonderful writing and I really love it. (So will mum and Krissy but they’ll be after the fair) Emma Eternity, stands laughing at old time |

We met on the end of an ache A heart in heal and not awake Wrapped around in hiding covers A wall of dark that stays and hovers A zone without a telephone A place of empty and postpone A place of good you fear as bad Clothed in garments gray and sad ========================================== this way cool melancholy masterpiece fits me mood today...love that first verse....some days just feel that way.... and how cool is this line of mental mundane.. "A place of empty and postpone ~~~~~~~~ "We met on the end of an ache A heart in heal and not awake *sigh* theres nothing "short" about your gift of rhyme and verse me Stinkylove...or the impression it makes on me. JM, If it impresses you then I am happy. And though I vassilate from high to wait I sill love to date you in our garden sate, to talk about the birds and bees, lying under the shade of trees. Siping raspberry tea just you and me. Winkiewinkie Randy Stinky |

Seymour darling boy this is utterly amazingly well written, you know for certain that I absolutely adore this you do these so well, the flow is always perfect the timing as perfect as it can get. I see my abominable daughter has been here while I was out this morning, I knew she had been here, the fridge had been raided there were crumbs by the keyboard and she’s left footprints all over PiP’s. I hope she didn’t disturb you too much. I have a soft spot for her you know……………… ………..Its called a swamp. I love this utterly utterly, it drips into my soul feeding me like sweet ambrosia, you are indeed the King of Soul. Perfect poetical writing from an absolutely brilliant perfect poetical poet’s pen. This is awesome and you know I love it Utterly utterly utterly Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the eathquake wind and fire Oh [This message has been edited by Marsha (06-20-2002 10:39 AM).] |

Martie, Have a wonderful day, Marsha, You are my queen of utterly, my dream of flattery. And would not have it any other way. JM, I did send it but it never showed when I checked. We send you extra just for being you. |
