*NOTE*: There is a riddle concealed in this poem.  If you find the answer, please keep it to yourself.  But I still want comments...  Hope you enjoy!

The Truth Behind the Veil of Tears

I cry every day.
Am I doomed to this misery?
Finding love and joy becomes
More diffucult as each day goes by.
And as my grief grows
Bigger and stronger
And heavier, I feel
More broken, and much more
Stupid.  I can't believe I fell for those
Lies.
As if
I couldn't
Read between
These cursed lines in these
Poems!

Any heart would do.
One smile from a stranger
Can save my life.
See!  I am doomed!
That one thing that I desire,
I cannot have.
Am I still doomed to have nothing?
Making jokes in
A hard time like this is near impossible!
Mock me, if you wish.
Of course I will join with you in writing
Depressive
Poems!

I can't help but
Hope I am not doomed.
Some hours of starving in my soul were required for
One simple dream.
Will anyone help me laugh?  I must help you
Solve this puzzle!
My freedom of laughter depends upon this
Simple wish.  Riddle me this.
Riddle me that.

Please pluck my soul from the ground.
Don't damage my leaves, or
Reveal the evil grimace behind
My petals.  I must contain my gruesome
Secret.

Laugh, instead, as I spread my seeds of love, for
With this love comes the truth behind what you see as
Me.
