Evening Falls midifile

Else

Why do I search here,
In the darkness of time gone?
It was just a small breeze,
That whistled through my heart,
But it threatened to extinguish,
The force that drives me on.

Why do I linger here,
Where the air is void and raw?
Wandering aimlessly the night,
Hoping for a far off light,
The same one I once saw,
The inspiration for my flight.

Tell me it is too late.
Say the voice inside is gone.
It will never be the same again,
And I will never win,
Yet I fight on and on in hope,
And sing aloud my song.

Is it worth it to remain,
A little while longer here?
I’ll never stray too far away.
I’m held here by my fear.
Or is it only laziness,
That keeps me prisoner here?

BRAVO!!! Yes, I love this thought-provoking second installment, and i especially love the quote you added to the end of it, we must not always frustrate ourselves what could have been or continue to worry about the future, but especially give ourselves a hug! (sigh) I can't wait to read the last part now sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sherry, thank you for sharing!
