Pollenation

In the land of Flowerdale
car-nations like to drive
down the hills where sudden drops-
have upsydaisies thrive

The moisture in the air's so thick
with so much here to dew
the laffodills are laughing loud
but the joke is not on you

Tiger lilies, dandy lions,
snapdragon’s make a circus
planting two lips on the ground
will never over work us

Gloomy poets write blue sonnets
merrygolds give us cheer
getting lost in whistlebrushes
ain't so bad round here

No florist lives in Flowerdale
just swarms of busy bees
I hope you get the picture now-
for what the photo-synthe-sees
