Paint for me a rainbow
Using your palette of words
Make my spirit soar so high
So I may fly up with the birds

The colors of love are so vivid
When you are here by my side
Forever deep inside my heart
Is where you will always reside

Your eyes are sapphire blue
Like a clear mountain stream
You fill my life with color
As I'm living out my dream

A gentle breath of wind
Feels soft and tender like your touch
I need you here beside me
For I love you oh so much

Whenever you're not there
My blue skies turn to grey
The sun is overshadowed
And the clouds move in to stay

But all the colors will return
And my skies will soon be blue
When I feel your love surround me
And I color my world with you
