The Fire is Set He was a man of wax for many years Sat chilled upon a shelf and gathered dust But then there came adrift the shed of tears From long away yet near on tortured gust That somehow reached him deep to warm and melt In fresh desire at which a valve was turned Such touch had long been gone or never felt And from the flow a pool of wax has burned Where once was cold and spent the fire is set With flames that leap and lick in measured time It burns beyond their thoughts when first they met And feeds on words and lines they write in rhyme Though neither knew that one could come to this They will embrace one day in tender bliss |

Well, I thought it wasn't all that bad an attempt at the form, though I've rarely tried it. Thanks for reading. |

(smiles) Oh Arthur, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, yes, that happiness is bound to come and may their dreams of joy forever be bound in wax forever! (big hugggssssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Arthur, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
