Bring light into my darkness
So I may see you

Bring feeling to my flesh
So I may touch you

Breathe words into my ear
So I may hear you

Breathe kisses on my lips
So I may taste you

Bring life back to my heart
So I may love you

A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground

A lovely five stanza, ten line piece, Kris. enjyoed it.

To be completely frank, it seemed to miss something your other work has, though. It didn't have the same flow, the same potency. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Just thought I'd mention that from an avid reader.
