I Dream Of Joanna

When I dream I hop aboard my magic carpet express
Swept away to my Agrabah, where gypsies skip and streamers flitter
Where monkeys have balcony seatings in the banana trees
And palaces are strewn with gold and polished in glitter

Deep in the marketplace of my heart I find a magic lamp
Tucked away in a fez encrusted with emeralds
Smiling in partial disbelief I rub the lamp gently
Where the girl I always dream of appears before me, I love I dream to hold

She says her name is Joanna, the genie of golden dreams
And she would be happy to grant me three wishes
I say "Right now, all I need is one wish!"
And that is to always love you and shower you in kisses

She cries in happy warm tears, wanting to always hear me say that
And she puts her arms around me, her breath feeling like a flowery breeze in May
And gently with her lips touching mine she whispers passionately "Your wish is granted!"
And my heart jumps like a happy puppy, screaming with glee "Yay!"



She sways her sexy hips and twinkles her nose, allowing her magic to shine
As we appear on a romantic honeymoon under the Arabian stars
Where we softly confess poetry to each others hearts
Saying she knew I'd come and set her free and dreamed of me always from miles apart

Now we ride lifes magic carpet together
Resting on amber rose pillows tucked beneath feather blankets of fondness
And every night after I kiss her lips and fall asleep with sheep eyes
I Dream Of Joanna again, my hearts gentle bliss...
