what whispers might escape your lips what messages impart what longings might depart your kiss as echoes from your heart if oceans gathered deep in song to a culminating roar would their excitement feed the throng in tunes of evermore if pirouettes were made of lace all strung with golden threads might they dance in heaven’s grace sweet visions in our heads if we, as kittens, playful be would frolic through the flowers what might the joy of all we see provide our waking hours could there be tiptoes and skips to lighten well our way as distant rise of sailing ships give glisten to the day spinning, spinning reverie my mind in sway’s a-fly come, o come and dance with me sweet joy to occupy ©August 9, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

I've just been telling myself I must, I must move myself away from this keyboard for I am as a huge porcelain jar filled with holes, spilling, spilling out messages from my mind and heart.
