His face buried in his arms;
Heard are his heavy weeps.
An old man who acknowledged life,
Has reached the end of line.
Stretched to the utmost is that lifeline.
Nothing left to look forward to;
No spark of hope is present.
Now he’s certain that it’s the end
“I’ve reached my end!” he screams
He holds his knees tighter to his chest.
“Take me away” he orders
No response is heard
Just as his tears disappear,
His body unfolds,
His soul has set,
He’s emotionless,
And so he descends.

It's that letting go
that we need to do
in order to ascend...

well done!
