Fear begins
it's power
like min-
utes do a day,
Tears spin
into showers
like april in-
to may,
Dear you skin,
devour
a heart as
though it's prey
and what's
left of me
will cower
like a flower
under hay,
yes the hour
that I towered
fell like bowers
in your sway,
you snowplower
Love has soured
what was our's
is gone away,

Years like sin
I'll coward
from the call
of passion's play

Nah, that's just the whiplash effect...
it will all even out...
and like you, I'll promise...

first I had to truly admire the construct of this--as though you'd built a tower starting at the TOP...the message of the work breaks my heart tho. Quite an impact--alliterative title, lots of assonance internal rhyme and rhythmic spin to this. very nice work here

Thank you for your replies on this strange (for me) write. I did try to incorporate humor into a bad situation. I am ready to let it go. I must.

Please, I wish to echo serenity blaze and wish to add that I will stand in agreement of your additional comment.

Some towers fall to be built again, and are all the stronger..."Il prend la force a laissé aller, soit fort"...but, this was a really unusually "neat" poem Richard.

Nothing means more to me than faith,
family and my friends.
