Today I woke up with fourteen roomates Struggling on how of us to let go our owner debates I was number three in line In my owners waistband I hear plans to pull a driveby With his friends having guns loaded with my cousins This is sure to be a family reunion My owner pulls up to a group of guys with the opposite colors on He pulls the trigger and releases me At the sametime I see my cousins ray and stevie They both hit concrete which I thought was neat But me, I bounce off a street pole into a house with plastc siding And hit a civilian, which becomes another innocent killin I landed right in the back of the head Hearing a loud thud, which means the person has dropped dead People all around begin crying, as they see a relative dying So now I'm in the county morgue cold and bored I really regret my owner grabbing the trigger and pulling it But this happens everyday in the diary of a bullet |

clever concept, but rather violent, methinks. [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (08-06-2002 07:26 AM).] |

You miss the point.Guns and bullets don't choose what they are fired at.A bullet that has a conscience would jam rather than let its self be fired in a cowardly drive by shooting.Write a poem about the mentality of the people who resort to drive by shooting. Now that would have social value. paladin |
