I Saved You A Place I was lingering where doubt and insecure have found their way to friends Where the lane of insane was about to be paved Then a clearer reminder of a road much kinder Found it's brighter and lighter path to engrave... I took on it's promise and what it means to be free Just when the likeness of loneliness was to release it's weight I took on your form of assurance you'd be with me somehow And, I quickly saved you a place... Now, I roam these days with a part of you in me You're imbedded in this reality over and over again I saved you a place in the deepest part of my heart Where no other soul has ever been... The mighty and unsure have found their new home But, it's balance to safety is what made me believe That you never allowed me to walk this world alone So, understand I saved you a place beside me... The sun sometimes finds me when I'm wearing the ground When kneeling for something to give way to a smile Then, I remembered, I saved you a place I when I fall And, like the rains hero we manage those miles... Night captures the days struggle and darkness comes through And, that's when all of me is needing you I picture my way to your so awesome face And, cling to my pillows silhouette of you in this place I saved...
