Letting Go Of My Dreams

I can’t explain how I fee
But believe me, the pain is real

It cuts me deep inside
Yet my emotions I’m forced to hide

A dream I cant posses
For it would leave our love a mess

My dream refuses to die
So, I’m forced to lie

I pretend all is okay
Yet there’s so much I want to say

But I can’t have my dreams
So I live a life that’s not what it seems

I’m not meaning to cause pain
That’s now what I’m trying to gain

I only want you to see
What my dream means to me

But since I must make a new life
It seems, I must settle down as your wife
