I could be talked into it
By your authoritative voice;
Convinced into believing
Again in the warmth of the sunshine
And the air I breathe.

But all of that is you, anyway,
Is it not? I should tell you thank you
For the recent gift you sent to me.
So indeed, thank you. I was glad to hear
The encouragement...and the life reminder.

I would love to accept you in full
And regain and mend the shredded trust.
For even now, I feel myself drifting
As though safe in your arms again.
