Hey! come on, Pen, come to the point! you spill words onto the page sometimes as if in a dance, other times as if tumbling over a waterfall, and at times, bleeding emotions onto the page as if there were only moments left before your ink dried into a clogged, caked mass. what’s your aim? where do you plan to carry me? whom do you hope to change? me or the reader? do you have any real intent? what’s your bent? to what extent do you plan to play out your days? in what ways would you serve me, or am I serving you? Am I the one to merely support you, while you take flight in your whimsy or is this your flimsy excuse for a goal one you’ll make known some day, on a “need-to-know” basis? Come to a point, you with your head down, scratching the surface with idioms, syntax and semantics. Come on, what’s your destination?! ©July 31, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

hahahaha, Thanks, White Rose, Neerja and Sy, glad you liked. Almost all my writing's on the computer, but it's rather unwieldy in a poem, i.e. "The computer is mightier than the sword." Somehow it just doesn't hold much poetic power as an extension of the mind, arm and hand. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. I like to write my poems with a dry erase marker on a white plastic message board.I can't seem to be creative using the computer. paladin |

oooh, paladin, that is so temporary, must be something rather poetic about the nature of that, even LOL, Sunshine, didn't think about the Muse while writing this one, hehehehe, was thinking of the pen point and "what's your point?" as being a great pun, also, often wondering what or where or why my incessant writing goes on. Like, if there is a point to it other than clicking my minutes away. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
