I've read much of your poetry Some very thought provoking Several feelings of sadness Other with fun and joking. A poet I'm not as you can see Sometimes I hardly rhyme I blame it on heredity I do that all the time My Dad posts here He has for years Something about a LongJohn And one called Balladeer? My dads as hard as nails But too has a gentle touch Except when he gets angry, You wouldn't like him much He doesn't mess with me though He knows that I'm too smart, Besides my car is faster, And I have his credit card. |

You're as self-deprecating about your poetry as your Dad is... but you obviously have more than his credit card. *G* No, I won't say you have his talent... for that would be an open invitation for Balladeer to say he knew SOMEONE must have it! Where are you sleeping tonight? Oh that's right, you have that checkbook. That's okay though, I have the title to that little race car, it's for sale by the way, ya got about 20 grand? Aww, too bad, I have a buyer right here. Sleep well son, your 10 speed bike needs some oil on the chain and don't trust those handle bar brakes. How far is school? Ya better get up reeeeeal early tomorrow. Don't wanna miss class yanno?....I'll call ya around fiveish...and that Balladeer comment?...He's a wus too...I've just been teasing you all this time...he doesn't even show his face here anymore. He's out chasin bugs...(The pickins for women when you're his age and look like him are very slim) |
