It’s crazycool to pick up slang
                   from your bestest friend in the whole wide world
                   and think that he is so damned smart
                   and give him props

Listening to midnight stories about his brother
                   Who’s ten times ten times crazycool as he
                   I’m crying! I’m crying - to be like him

His name is cool
and the subtle side of his damn ain’t given
                   and curses and spits and vulgarity
                   he might not be above
                   but he ain’t - in no way - mechanical

His terms become “isms”
                   Give him one million dollars of which he wouldn’t take
                   He’d never promote alkyhal or anything for that matter
                   He’s crazy cool its his only rule

The Father’s crazycool to him and he believes
I am too-
                   Crazycool

To talk about dreams
in such extrapolation
                   that otherwise would be a bore
                   Sex and girls and tawdry things others wouldn’t want to hear
                   Things that lonely boys do under the goose down covers
                   and it’s ok to tell him, I love him-
                   His name is Crazycool.
