Miss GypsiNess, she’s hopped a train
Miss GypsiNess, she’s hopped a train
She rides again upon westbound
She rides again upon westbound
Miss GypsiNess she rides again
She’s hopped upon a westbound train

A long wide trek to take her far
A long wide trek to take her far
To riverbanks and mountainsides
To riverbanks and mountainsides
A trek to take her far and wide
Long riverbanks to mountainsides

Hear castanets resound click clack
Hear castanets resound click clack
And now her rhythmic song by track
And now her rhythmic song by track
Her castanets' song click and clack
Now hear resound by rhythmic track

Again Miss GypsiNess now rides
Far trek upon a train westbound
On rhythmic track she’s hopped a-long
To take wide riverbanks to song
And hear her castanets resound
Her click and clack by mountainsides

Only YOU would provide a paradelle

I could sing along with this wonderlust...cause I have it too, as much as you.  Loved the rhythm of this!

MissGypsiNess,

As you clickity clack
along the track
cloudy skies will turn to blue
as you come to a stop in Kalamazoo
and oh the wonderful things you'll see
on your way to Vancouver, by the sea
have a wonderful trip, MissGypsiNess
stay safe and happy, and may you be blessed
~ with special chipmunk hugs from Kalamazoo

Ms Ness, Let's tell it like it really was:

Click, Clack, I was goin' down the track
Headin for the Canada Coast
Click, Clack , someone tapped me on the back
Thought it was a travelin' ghost
Then a - click , clack - Thought we jumped the track
How was I to know there was a party goin' on
WE were a'clickin' and a clackin'
Rockin' and a 'rollin
Huffin' and a'puffin
Rootin' and a tootin'
Click , clack we were blowin' our stack
Rollin' down the VanCouver track!

Glad you had such a nice trip
Sounds like fun

What a perfect way to use a poetic form to give the feeling of train tracks. Very cool.

Oh dear, I'm so sad Nan's gone away,
already I'm feeling lonely today.
She hopped a bus to catch a train,
eastward bound to test a Wizard's brain.

When she gets there we will see,
if she learned some little tricks from me.
There is more to winning a game you play,
I'll explain to you all if I may.

Playing good Scrabble takes a real knack,
I said, "Girl sharpen your skills while on that track.'
She'll not let the Wizard beat once more,
she's going back there way smarter than before

I taught her good at being a femme fatale,
so she better win but time will tell.
There's more to Scrabble than being smart,
to beat a man I said, "Be ditsy from the start!

Just kidding...Oh, I loved having her here, we had so much fun that life is going to be mighty boring for a long time without her.  Besides she does dishes!

Missing you Nan, have fun!

Next time it's a "Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun Event!"

I pass this way but once and I hope to meet you.

Sharon

Wonderful paradelle Nan ... I could hear the sound of the clickety clack rumbling through my mind ... nicely captured indeed!  Hope you ladies had an absolutely wonderful time, and that your trip back this direction is a safe and pleasant one!

Best wishes and hugs to you,
