Skirts In Flutter
~*Marge Tindal*~

She skirts the yard in flutter
drinking the nectar of my soul
I pause to wonder
if in her winging
she really knows
exactly how much
she gifts this poet
seeking words to pen
Come gentle butterfly on wing
give my voice new song to sing

jingler often wonders. Do these lovely creatures take pleasure in their own beautiful selves?

Jingler~
That would seem to be a reasonable thing for them to do ... if not ... we'll do it for them~
Thank you~

Oh Marge, this is just delightful. Seems to me you mentioned once that one of your beloved relatives comes to visit as a butterfly. Darn old age, can't remember which one though....Hugs, Marti

Marge:  Lovely!  We never see monarch butterflies anymore in our part of the country.  They do inspire poetry!

Okay, okay... *G* I'll withdraw my "I hate all bugs" stance... just for you, just for this. *S* It's beautiful, Marge. *S*

Auntie Margie girl hi there, I don’t get here nearly often enough at the moment, so it’s wonderful when I do that I can reply to your beautiful poetry. You really do write the most exquisite poems, this is stunningly lovely. As I said before sheer magic I love it and I love you I can’t wait until September.

Beautifully written

Marge...I have to be honest and say that
the title took me down a different path...

But the words certainly brought me back on
track....beautiful poem...and now I understand
the title....
